Sherlock Holmes

The new movie of Sherlock Holmes is out now… watched it on Christmas eve and it is a very nice movie. So here’s a short review on it.

Started with some action. It is basically about a man called Lord Blackwood that uses so called “black magic” trying to conquer the country or maybe the world. It is hard to explain on how the story been shown to the audience as you really need to watch it to experience the new way they show the movie. Check out the clips below:

Smart & Strong

As you might already know… Sherlock Holmes is a very intelligent character. Robert Downey Jr. really knows how to play that character really well. This time Sherlock Holmes and Watson’s character not only very smart, they can really fight too. I love the way Sherlock Holmes do the thinking before he attack someone. The slow-motion and fact that he mentioned together will all the step that he will take is totally cool.

Magic Versus Facts/ Science?

As usual, Sherlock Holmes is a facts/ science person. In this movie, he unveils more on magic rather than solving some murder case as other common Sherlock Holmes stories. The technology used in the movie is amazing. Sherlock Holmes will explain the science facts in the magical things happened in the case the he is investigating.

Summary

Love the smart humor that they have and  the new concept that they bring into Sherlock Holmes genre of stories. I don’t want to reveal too much about this movie because still new in cinema. From the story line, you can see that there will be a sequel to this movie. All the cast are amazing.

I would give a 4.5 star from 5 star for this movie and I think that you will love this movie.If you love a fiction and intelligent/ thinking type of movie than this is the movie for you.
