“Mini-Seminar Asas Buat Duit Dengan Produk Fizikal”, that’s the seminar that I went last Sunday night with my brother. Bringing him along to show him the business side of the Internet. Actually there’s a few reason that I wanted to go for this mini seminar.

Received an email about this mini seminar from MajalahIM.com newsletter. The venue is at FlareBiz new office, Diamond Square Business Centre, Jalan Gombak. As for the date, you can choose from few dates in the list as they are conducting it for few days. If I’m not mistaken, they still have it on 6 and 7 February 2010. You can check it here.

One of the reason that I wanted to go for this seminar is to meet personally with Adly (Labanon), Zhafran and the whole FlareBiz team. This is the first time I went to any of Malaysia IM’s seminar. I went there with my youngest brother and we reached there nearly 8 pm. It is quite hard to look for the place as I’m not familiar with the roads around that area. Bump with one of the FlareBiz team member and he showed us the place. Started a bit late, waiting for other participants.

The mini-seminar consist of 3 part.

Part 1: The introduction, the tips and tricks of selling a physical product online.

What to sell? How to sell? How to deliver? How to market?

All that will be shared to you by the team.

Part 2: About mini-site and online store.

Which is the best platform? A mini-site or an online store. Both have it’s own pros and cons.

Here is where they will introduce the online store that they developed. Totally cool product and it is customized to our Malaysian way of doing online business.

Summary

The mini-seminar is a very resourceful seminar although it only cost me RM10 the knowledge that they share with us are more valuable than that. It was great. For only RM10 I’ve learned thing that worth hundreds of ringgit. Surely “berbaloi-baloi” as some people would say. Hope that they can conduct this type of seminar for other topics.

To team FlareBiz, keep up the good work. They’re very friendly guys and I hope that we’ll meet again.
