ITEX 09 and Karnival Kerjaya & Keusahawanan Graduan 2009!

This will be a short post on the exhibition that will be held this weekend. This weekend (actually starting tomorrow) will have 2 exhibition in 2 different places for 2 type of interest or maybe someone have both.
Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition 2009
First would be the ITEX 09 stands for Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition 2009 is basically a showcase on the new invention, technology and products.
It is an annual and this is the 20th time. Together with the exhibition will have the Malaysia Young Investors Exhibition (MYIE 09). It is a great platform for the local and international inventors and scientists as it will maximize the exposure of the award winning products and technologies to the world. Below are the details of the exhibition:

Karnival Kerjaya & Keusahawanan Graduan 2009
The second exhibition is the “Karnival Kerjaya & Keusahawanan Graduan 2009″ is basically more for the school leaver or anyone that are interested to be an entrepreneur by showing you the way for you to start a business and the right way to get funds and things that relates to setting up a business.
This exhibition is organized by Ministry of Higher Education to help Malaysian to have the necessary skill-set and expertise to obtain a position in any organization, as well as to excel in the career which they wish to pursue.

My Broadband Exhibition & Conference 2008

One of my Director gave a few invitation card to go to the “ACM:2008 ASEAN ICT EXPO” held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre at KLCC. The expo titled “EXPERIENCING CONVERGENCE. MY BROADBAND EXHIBITION AND CONFERENCE 2008″ is held from 28-30 October 2008.
I went there on the 30th October 2008 with my colleague, Thristhan right after lunch. It was very interesting as the exhibition is mainly about broadband services and technology. All the main player of the wireless broadband service providers was there; Celcom, Maxis, iZZi, P1 W1MAX and U.
One of the interesting booth is the D’Impian Smart Home. TM together with a few other sponsors join ventured in this what they called “Smart Home”. It is interesting to know the technology that they have.
At the Celcom Broadband Booth, they have a competition where you need to find the differences on pictures and if you win, you’ll get a 3G phone. Damn that was cool. When I queued, they only have 2 set left and the 2 person right in front of us won both of the phone. Damn!
At TM booth I managed to win a T-Shirt for the Quiz and again another T-Shirt for the Lucky Draw. Hehehe… I got some luck with T-Shirts on that day. Anyway, the main price for the Lucky Draw is iPod Nano.

At the size of your palm, it is small yet convenient for a person that have a big hand to use.
Integrated with it is the dual-purpose ClickPad: Use as a touch pad to point and click – or as a directional pad to navigate menus and make selections.
With 2 different backlight colors depending the on the mode you’re in – orange for cursor mode, and green for media control mode.
